A new stage production based on Suzanne Collins’ book and the film version of The Hunger Games will have its world premiere in London in autumn 2024.

Conor McPherson has adapted the first book from Collins’ series as well as the first of the Lionsgate-produced films.

The production will be directed by Matthew Dunster, whose recent projects include 2:22 – A Ghost Story, Hangmen, and The Pillowman.

Speaking about the production, Collins said: “I’m very excited to be collaborating with the amazing team of Conor McPherson and Matthew Dunster as they bring their dynamic and innovative interpretation of ‘The Hunger Games’ to the London stage.”

Dates and venue have not yet been announced.
