Sir Ian McKellen has hinted he could be involved with Andy Serkis’ new Lord of the Rings film.
But, the 85-year-old said it would be “only if I’m alive”.
Serkis will star in and direct The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum.
Asked if he’d be interested in appearing in the film, McKellen said he’s “heard stirrings in Tolkien land.
“But there is no script, there is no offer, there is no plan,” the actor stressed.
I guess fans will have to wait and see whether McKellen becomes Gandalf the Grey once again.
