Disney Plus has confirmed there will be a second season of Rivals.

The first season debuted on the streamer in October and was met with acclaim from both critics and viewers.

Announcing the news that the show would be back, author Jilly Cooper said: “I’m orgasmic with excitement and cannot wait for the return of my superhero Rupert Campbell-Black and the rest of the characters in Season 2!”

Rivals stars David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Aidan Turner, Bella Maclean, Emily Atack, Katherine Parkinson and Danny Dyer.
