One of the films I’m most intrigued about this year is the remake of Pete’s Dragon.
Based on the 1977 Disney film, the remake is directed by David Lowery.
The film will blend live action and CGI to tell the story of the special bond between an orphaned boy, Pete, and his best friend, Elliott, who just happens to be a dragon.
One of the best shows to launch on Netflix last year was The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
She’ll be back in April and here’s a teaser to get us all excited.
Here’s some new I hoped never to have to write: Disney are making a sequel to Mary Poppins.

Is it just me who’s starting to get fed-up with the constant attempts to keep making money out of Harry Potter?
First it was the Fantastic Beasts films, then the Cursed Child play, then the announcement you could get the book of the play (which immediately shot to the top of the bestseller charts).
Now, there’s another Harry Potter initiative – this time a film concert series which will tour the US later this year.
Now this could be good – Ron Howard could be set to direct a new version of Pinocchio, starring Robert Downey Jr.
