The UK premiere of the final part of The Hunger Games will take place at the beginning of November.
Whilst the Star Wars, Hunger Games, Doctor Who and Game of Thrones panels at this year’s Comic-Con are likely to garner acres of coverage, there are some interesting panels involving British talent to watch out for as well.
There’s just over two weeks until the eyes of the showbiz world turn to San Diego for the 46th outing of geek heaven, also known as Comic-Con.
So many panels and actors are being confirmed on a daily basis, so I thought I’d provide a handy catch-up of who you can, and can’t, expect at this year’s SDCC.
BAFTA have confirmed who we can expect to see in the red carpet and on the stage at Sunday’s Film Awards.
It’s just a week until the British Academy Film Awards, hosted by Stephen Fry on February 8.
As always there will be plenty of events happening before Sunday’s awards show, including the inaugural BAFTA Film Gala Dinner on Thursday.
BAFTA supporters confirmed to attend include Andy Serkis, Emilia Fox, Henry Cavill, Imelda Staunton, Joanna Lumley, Miranda Hart, Miranda Richardson, Natalie Dormer, Natasha McElhone, Olivia Colman, Simon Pegg and Tom Hiddleston.
The annual Nominees’ Party takes place on February 7 so expect to see lots of BAFTA news this week.
Former Doctor Who star Matt Smith is to star in new zombie action thriller Patient Zero.
He’ll co-star alongside Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer in the film which takes place in a post-outbreak zombie apocalypse and follows one man who has the unique ability to speak with the undead and who hopes to use his gift to discover a cure for the plague and his infected wife.
