A while ago I wrote about plans to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Monty Python and the Holy Grail in October with a special sing-along screening in 500 cinemas.
Details of the 500 venues who’ll be screening the film on October 14 have been released and it’s pretty much everywhere (although not in my own local cinema of course).

The screening will be accompanied by a specially filmed, exclusive, introduction from Terry Jones, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin, Eric Idle and John Cleese.
Organisers are encouraging audiences to come along dressed up as their favourite character in order to make the (k)night as fun as possible.

Wonderful, thorough list. Thanks for the heads up. Disappointed that there are no venues in the States listed 😦 I thought they were planning screenings there as well. I hope they’ll be forthcoming. If not, I suppose I can just purchase the DVD (if it’ll be available in Region 1 anyway).
