At LFF 2016 – day three

It’s a day for cinephiles at the BFI London Film Festival  with screenings of an Oscar front-runner as well as new films from Park Chan-Wook, Andrea Arnold and Francis Ozon.

Today’s big gala is La La Land, one of the most eagerly anticipated films of the festival (at least according to those I follow on Twitter). Director Damien Chazelle will be at the screening. Unfortunately the film’s stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone aren’t down to attend but you never know….

Asian cinema great Park Chan-Wook attends the Dare gala screening of his latest film The Handmaiden and Francis Ozon will be at his new film Frantz which is in competition at the Festival.

Andrea Arnold and Sacha Lane will be on the red carpet for the road trip tale, American Honey.

Probably the most famous faces at LFF today will be Michael C Hall, who’s attending the screening of Christine, and Vanessa Redgrave who’ll be at The Secret Scripture. A rare treat for anyone with tickets to either film.
