US drama series Empire will have a new home when it returns to UK screens this Autumn.

The show’s fourth series will premiere on 5STAR after the channel won the rights from E4.

The powerful drama, which follows the Lyon family and their media company Empire Entertainment, stars the likes of Terrence Howard, Taraji P Henson and Jussie Smollett.

5STAR have said that they “can’t wait” for their audience to see the trials and tribulations of Lucious and Cookie, praising its “stellar cast”.

5STAR has also won the rights to Lee Daniels’ other show, Star, which features Queen Latifah among its cast.
