David Tennant and Catherine Tate look set to work together once again, in a new comedy series written by Tate.
Americons is about a couple who move to America.
It’s thought the series will air in the UK on Sky One, although there’s no confirmed date yet,
Previously, the pair worked together on Doctor Who – the Doctor/Donna series being my all-time favourite of the new Who; and also played Beatrice and Benedick in a West End production of Much Ado About Nothing (which they were both fantastic in).
Currently, they’re both lending their voices to the reboot of Disney animation DuckTales, where Tate voices villainous sorceress Magica De Spell and Tennant is Scrooge McDuck
When I met Catherine Tate she was sweet, genuine and very likeable. I bet this series will be great!
