If you like being scared silly in the theatre, then this might be one for you. The stage adaptation of The Exorcist is heading out on a UK tour.
The show will begin its tour at Theatre Royal Windsor on 2nd September before visiting Glasgow, Wimbledon, Stoke, Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Manchester, Dublin, Edinburgh, Inverness, Aberdeen and Bromley.
As in the West End production, IanMcKellen is providing the voice of the demon for the show.
The stage version is directed by Sean Mathias and was adapted for the stage by John Pielmeier. Based on a true story, William Peter Blatty’s 1971 novel is about a small girl possessed by demons and reduced to an animalistic state, and the attempts of local priest Father Damien to save her.
