The second day of the BFI London Film Festival sees red carpet screenings ramp up with the likes of Timothee Chalamet, Shia LaBeouf, Dakota Johnson, and Aiden Gillen all expected.
There are two gala screenings today, the first of which is Peanut Butter Falcon, it tells the story of Zak, a young man with Down syndrome, who away from a residential nursing home to pursue his dream of becoming a pro wrestler, he befriends an outlaw who becomes his coach and ally. Stars Shia LaBeouf, Dakota Johnson and Zak Gottsagen are all expected to attend.
The other gala is David Michod’s The King starring Timothee Chalamet. It’s a new take on the story of Henry V, written by Joel Egerton, who also co-stars alongside Chalamet. All three are expected to attend. They’ll be joined by Sean Harris and Lily-Rose Depp.
Game of Thrones star Aiden Gillen will be at the official screening of his latest film, Rose Plays Julie, a drama about an adopted girl who sets out to find her birth mother.
