Apple TV Plus has announced its first British series, a relationship comedy starring Imelda Staunton and Rafe Spall.

Trying stars Spall as Jason, with Esther Smith as his partner Nikki. The pair want a baby. But it’s the one thing they just can’t have. Staunton also stars in the series.

The eight-part series will debut on Apple on Friday 1st May.
