Rosamund Pike, Cush Jumbo and Ruth Wilson are in talks to star in Greatest Day, the upcoming film based on Take That musical, The Band.
According to Deadline, the three actresses are all in negotiations to appear in the film, which counts Take That among its producers.
Inspired by the songs of Take That, the story focuses on five schoolgirls who have the night of their lives at a concert from their favourite boy band. 25 years later their lives have changed in a myriad of ways as they reunite to reminisce about their past and discover their future.
The film will feature some of the band’s biggest hits including Patience, Back For Good, A Million Love Songs, Relight My Fire, and Could It Be Magic. Take That are also in talks to write an original song for the feel-good movie.
