The much talked about return of Frasier Crane has been confirmed.

Kelsey Grammer will return as Frasier in a new series of streaming service, Paramount Plus.

“I gleefully anticipate sharing the next chapter in the continuing journey of Dr. Frasier Crane,” said Grammer as the announcement was made.

No further casting details were announced. It has previously been reported that David Hyde Pierce, who played Niles in the show, has been approached about returning.

Jane Leeves (Daphne) recently said that if the show did return, she would not leave her current job on drama series The Resident.

No date has been given on when we’re likely to see Frasier back on our screens, although it’s unlikely to be before 2022 as Grammer is working on another comedy series with Alec Baldwin.
