An Ally McBeal revival could be happening.

Apparently 20th TV, which produced the original series, is bouncing around some ideas for a revival.

According to Deadline, original series creator David E Kelley is expected to be involved in the project.

The studios has approached Calista Flockhart about reprising her role, although no formal talks have taken place.

The original series aired from 1997 to 2002.
