Rufus Hound is to lead the cast of a new stage version of 1970’s sitcom The Good Life.

He’ll be playing Tom Good, originally plated by Richard Briers in the BBC series.

The rest of the cast hasn’t been announced yet.

The show’s original scripts have been adapted for the stage, and a UK tour is set to begin in Bath in October.

The show was originally expected to debut last summer but was cancelled because of Covid.
