The creator of The Thick of It and Veep is celebrating the publication of his new poem about the global pandemic with an in person and online event.

Armando Iannucci’s Pandemonium is the story of Orbis Rex, Young Matt and his Circle of Friends, Queen Dido and the blind Dom’nic did battle with ‘a wet and withered bat’ from Wuhan.

As part of the event Iannucci will give readings from the book, and also talk about his career in comedy.

The in person event takes place at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London on 7th December, and if you can’t make it the evening will also be streamed online.
