Harry Potter actress Bonnie Wright is writing a guide to living more sustainably.

Go Gently will be published on 19th April 2022.

Wright, who played Ginny Weasley in the Potter movies, is a Greenpeace ambassador.

The book will offer simple, tangible steps toward reducing our environmental impact by looking at what we consume and the waste we create, as well as how to take action for environmental change.

According to the publishers, the title reflects Wright’s belief that the best way to change our planet and ourselves is through a gentle approach, rather than a judgmental one.

Wright said: “I wrote this book from my own experience of becoming involved in the climate movement. I was called to share with you the intimate and individual actions I was taking quietly at home in order to have a more tangible relationship to the climate crisis.”
