The new TV version of Around the World in 80 Days hasn’t even aired yet, but producers are already working on a second season.

David Tennant is expected to return as adventurer Phileas Fogg, alongside Ibrahim Koma as Passepartout and Leonie Benesch as Abigail.

The second season will see Fogg set out on another adventure to traverse the globe.

Season one of the show is due to launch on BBC One in the UK over the festive season. It will air in the US on PBS, as well as international broadcasters France Télévisions, ZDF, RAI, and RTBF.
