Netflix has released the first images from its forthcoming thriller, The Gray Man.

The film stars Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Billy Bob Thornton, Alfre Woodard and Regé-Jean Page. It is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.

In the film, Gosling plays CIA operative Court Gentry, aka, Sierra Six. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Thornton), Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death.

But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out.

The film will arrive in UK cinemas on 15th July, and debut on Netflix on 22nd July.
