A new book looking at every Prince album track, b-side and more will be published later this year.

Prince: All the Songs: The Story Behind Every Track by Benoît Clerc will be released as a 648-page hardback in October 2022.

The book will move chronologically through more than 40 years of Prince’s music and promises to uncover the full story behind every song, from the inspiration behind the lyrics and melody to the recording process and artwork. 

According to the publishers, All the Songs will also give fans a thorough account of the wide variety of musicians and producers who worked with Prince on each track.
