The current West End production of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull will be shown in cinemas this winter.

Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke leads the cast of the production, which is currently on stage at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London.

The filmed version will premiere as part of NT Live on 3rd November.

Clarke said: “We are so excited to share The Seagull with audiences around the world through National Theatre Live. Bringing theatre to a wider audience is incredibly meaningful to me and I hope you’ll join us to see The Seagull unveiled on the big screen this autumn.”

NT Live will also premiere Othello starring Giles Terera on 23rd February.
