Emma Thompson has revealed her musical based on Nanny McPhee is expected to premiere in the West End in 2023.
In an interview with the New Yorker, Thompson said the music in the show is a “cross between the Tiger Lillies and Tom Waits’s Swordfishtrombones.”
Thompson added that she will be writing the show’s book, and also intends to co-write the lyrics.
No further details have been announced.
