David Tennant has been announced as the host of 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards, which take place on Sunday 18th February.

This year’s awards take place at the Royal Festival Hall in London for the first time.

Speaking about the announcement, Tennant said: “I am delighted to have been asked to host the EE BAFTA Film Awards and help celebrate the very best of this year’s films and the many brilliant people who bring them to life.”  

While he might seem an unusual choice, Tennant does have hosting experience having been one of the co-hosts of the Comic Relief TV broadcast in recent years.
