Nick Frost is the latest name rumoured to be joining the cast of the upcoming Harry Potter TV series.

According to reports, he is set to play Hagrid in the show.

If the deal goes through, Frost will join John Lithgow who has confirmed he will be taking on the role of Albus Dumbledore.

Janet McTeer is said to be in talks with producers about taking on the role of Professor McGonagall, and Paapa Essiedu is in negotiations to play Severus Snape.

Filming on the series is expected to begin in London this summer.
