Ex-EastEnder set as Frankenstein’s monster
Former EastEnders actor Robert Kazinsky is to play Frankenstein’s monster in a new TV series adaptation of the classic gothic horror story.
The show, which is at pilot stage with the Fox network, takes inspiration from the Mary Shelley story of a man brought back to life by scientists.
In this version, Ray Pritchard (Kazinsky), a morally corrupt retired cop is given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead.
The “monster” is athletic, strong and handsome — his body may be new, but his mind is still that of a 75-year-old.
Kazinsky was known to millions of Brits as Sean Slater in the BBC soap and has since found fame in the US sigh a role in True Blood.
