Angie Greaves and I are back with another new podcast, this week including news on how you can see Richard Madden and Lily James in Romeo & Juliet, why you’ll have to wait for a sequel to Wall-E, I have a bit of a rant about the Oscars and discuss Prince Harry’s dad dancing.
This week’s podcast is packed full of news including my thoughts on George Clooney and Julia Roberts in Money Monster, a new film about the Obama’s’ first date, Nicole Kidman working on a vampire movie and what next for Daniel Craig.
There’s been intense speculation as to whether Daniel Craig will continue as James Bond after Spectre. But it seems the only person not joining in with all the discussion is the man himself who claims he’s not even thought about it.
As the summer draws to a close and autumn fast approaches it’s time to say farewell to the big blockbusters and begin to prepare ourselves for the inevitable slide into awards season.
August to October is always a strange time in cinema as distributors move away from the big tent-pole movies into the more dramatic, kudos-likely fare. But, as always, there are plenty of films that are worth getting excited about.
The first teaser trailer for the new James Bond film, Spectre, has been released.
It’s less that two minutes long and of course includes the obligatory Bond looking all moody and a swishy care shots. Fans also get to see Naomie Harris return as Moneypenny as well as a first glimpse of new Bond girl Monica Bellucci.
The trailer ends with Bond coming face-to-face with a shadowy figure who welcomes James back to something…
You can’t see the character’s face bit it’s definitely Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser.
