Oscar nominee Julianne Moore will be discussing her film at a special screening in London next month.
The actress, who is the favourite to walk away with the Best Actress Academy Award, will promote Still Alice at a special screening at the Curzon Chelsea on February 6.
That’s the Friday before the BAFTA’s so I think it pretty much guarantees Moore will be attending the awards on February 8.
The Hobbit star Aidan Turner will attend a special preview of his new BBC drama series Poldark next month.
Turner will join co-star Eleanor Tomlinson at the screening at the BFI Southbank on February 23.
Tickets go on sale to the public at 11.30am on January 20.
The series is set in Britain in 1783 as Ross Poldark (Turner) returns from the American War of Independence to his beloved Cornwall to find his world in ruins: his father dead, the family mine long since closed, his house wrecked and his sweetheart pledged to marry his cousin.
Alicia Vikander will attend a special screening of her new film Testament of Youth at the BFI Southbank on Monday January 12.
Colin Firth will be joined by Take That at the premiere of his new film Kingsman: The Secret Service on Wednesday January 14.
